Privacy Policy
Effective 30 October 2026
This page explains what personal information Struence collects, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We’ve kept it short and in plain language.
Who we are
Struence is responsible for how your personal information is handled. For anything in this policy, email contact@struence.com.
What we collect
When you request a call or email us: your name, work email, company, industry, what you tell us about your operation and when you’re free to talk.
When we contact you first: business contact details such as your name, job title, company, work email and LinkedIn profile. We find these ourselves, on LinkedIn, on company websites and through Apollo, a business contact database.
During a call: notes of what we discuss. We only record a call if everyone on it agrees first.
When you visit this website: anonymous statistics such as which pages are viewed, which site you came from, your device type and approximate country. These don’t identify you.
Why we use it
To reply to you and arrange calls. We do this at your request, or as a step towards working together.
To contact businesses that may need our work. We have a legitimate interest in telling relevant businesses about our services. We only use work contact details, and only write about things relevant to your role.
To prepare proposals and deliver projects you’ve engaged us for, under our agreement with you.
To understand how this website is used and improve it, using anonymous statistics.
To keep the records the law requires, such as accounting records.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who helps us
We use a small number of providers who handle personal information on our behalf:
Google Workspace for email, calendar, video calls on Google Meet and the spreadsheets we keep enquiries and contacts in.
Framer to host this website, receive the request form and provide anonymous site statistics.
Apollo for business contact information.
LinkedIn to find businesses and send messages.
AI tools to help research companies and draft messages. We share only what each task needs.
Some of these providers store data outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the United States. When they do, we rely on the safeguards recognised under Swiss and EU data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.
Calls and recordings
We hold calls on Google Meet. We record a call only if everyone on it agrees at the start, and we use a recording only to keep accurate notes for your project. You can ask us to delete a recording at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and contacts that don’t lead to a project: deleted 24 months after our last contact with you.
If you ask us to stop contacting you: we keep your email address on a short do-not-contact list, only so that we don’t contact you again.
Client and project records: for as long as the work requires, and accounting records for the 10 years Swiss law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. To stop hearing from us, reply “stop” to any of our emails or write to contact@struence.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you think we’ve mishandled your information, you can contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies for tracking or advertising. Our site statistics come from Framer’s built-in analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
Keeping it safe
We keep personal information in a small number of trusted services, limit who can access it and delete it when we no longer need it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
